Board of Trustees

The Board of Trustees is responsible for determining the investment direction of the Plan assets with the assistance of their professional consultants. The Board regularly review the investments, and all investments are made in accordance with the regulations administered by Office of the Superintendent – Pension Commission (Commission) and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).  As part of the Plan’s governance, the Board of Trustees established an Investment Charter which provides for the policies and procedures for the Plan’s investment portfolio.

Plan members may request from the administrator any of the following documents:

  1. Plan Text including all amendments filed with the Commission (available on the website)
  2. the most recent annual information return filed with the Commission
  3. the most recent financial statements of the Plan
  4. the Plan’s Statement of Investment Policies and Procedures (SIPP) or Investment Charter (available on the website)
  5. all documents filed regarding a wind-up or termination of the Plan
  6. any other documents required to be filed with the Commission without charge during regular business hours at the office of Ellement Consulting Group.

Alternatively, a Plan member may provide a written request to either office for a copy of the documents not available online (either by mail or electronically). A fee may apply when requesting a copy of the documents.

The Board of Trustees (Pension Committee) oversees the general administration and overall governance of the Pension Plan. The Board of Trustees is comprised of the following individuals:
