Manitoba School Boards Association (MSBA) Pension Plan's administrative service provider has switched from Eckler to Ellement Consulting Group LP effective April 1st, 2024.
What has happened since?
- Your pension fund records will remain with Eckler until March 31st, 2024, and are being transferred to Ellement at the beginning of April 2024.
What will be happening?
- Due to the recent transition, the mailing of your 2023 annual pension statement may be slightly delayed this year. Rest assured that you will receive your statement before the June 30th, 2024, deadline, as required under Manitoba pension legislation.
- A new dedicated website for the MSBA Pension Plan is being created and scheduled to be available in the Fall of 2024. You will be provided with details on how to access the new website once it has been launched.
What do I need to do?
- Once you receive your pension statement, you should review it and contact Ellement to update any incorrect information, such as your address, date of birth, or beneficiary.
