The Board of Pension Trustees, in close collaboration with their professional consultants, is responsible for determining the investment direction of the Plan assets. The Board conducts regular reviews of the investments, ensuring all decisions align with the regulations overseen by the Office of the Superintendent- Pension Commission, Manitoba and the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). As part of the Plan’s governance, the Board of Trustees has established a Charter of Investment Policies, Guidelines and Objectives (“Investment Charter”), which outlines the policies and procedures for the Plan’s investment portfolio.
