Using the Pension Estimator

Learn how to estimate the amount of possible monthly retirement pension payable to you from the pension plan based on your expected retirement date.

What is the Pension Estimator?

The Pension Estimator is a tool provided to assist you in preparing for your financial future. All amounts provided are estimates and subject to formal calculation before retirement.

The Pension Estimator projects future retirement income based on the information provided and will calculate estimate amounts at an assumed rate of return for Minimum & Maximum Monthly withdrawals until all funds are depleted.

The Pension Estimator's results are estimates and are based on the information that you provide. The results should not be considered financial advice and should not be used for financial planning.  Additional options may be available at retirement.  

Please contact our office four to six months before your intended retirement date for a personalized estimate retirement package.

How to use the Pension Estimator?

To get started, go to the Pension Estimator page:

For the projection, start by selecting the criteria you want to use:

  • a retirement age or
  • a retirement date.
Criteria options

Note: The retirement age or date entered cannot be earlier than your current age or the current date and cannot be earlier than the earliest age at which you are permitted to retire from the pension plan.

Calculate by retirement date
  1. Enter the retirement date for which you wish to get the projection.
  2. If you have a spouse and wish to use your spouse’s age for the projection, click on Use age for a drop down menu to enter your spouse’s date of birth.

  1. Enter the retirement age for which you wish to get the projection. It must be between 50 and 71 years of age.
  2. If you have a spouse, enter your spouse's date of birth; it will impact the projection.
  3. Click on Calculate.
